Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
I'm being charged with assault family violence/ household member. I got in a fight with my girlfriends dad. We dont live together and never have. How can I be charged with this?

The "family violence" portion may be able to be dropped unless the state is considering that she is really your father-in-law. Hire a lawyer.
