Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
I have been charged with class A misdimeanor assault causing bodily injury. Given that this is the first charge on my record (i'm 24yrs. old), should i seek legal council for my court date?? Also, what sentencing does this carry??

Absolutely, you need to retain an attorney. There are serious long-term consequences for a conviction of this nature. Class A misdemeanor carries jail term up to one year, and up to $4000.00 fine.
