Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
I was charged with criminal mischeif after punching a chair box when I got fired from my job.The chair wasn't damaged and was purchased 6 mths later by a family member.can I get charges dropped and sue the company for false arrest.

doesn't sound like a strong case against you. Depending on what the offense report and the DA's file says, you may have a good chance at getting the case dismissed.
As for suing the company for false arrest, I would assume the police arrested you, not the company. If they simply called the police and said some guy was punching stuff and the police come out and arrest you for criminal mischief, the company did nothing wrong.
