Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
charged with deadly conduct but not present at time of incident
My friend was arrested and charged with deadly conduct. The problem is he was not at home when the incident occurred. Friends were target shooting on the property he leases. Sheriff deputies came that day but my friend was not arrested until a week later. Can he be arrested for deadly conduct if he was not present when the incident took place?

Yes he can be arrested -- since he was arrested.
From your description, however, he has good chance of winning the case. He needs a lawyer.
