Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Charged with MISREPRESENTATION OF AGE
The night I turned 21, the vehicle I was riding in was pulled over. All of us were searched. 3 charged with MIPs. They found an old fake id in my wallet and charged me with misrepresenting my age. I never presented it, however. Should I fight this charge? Would it be to my benefit?

You should fight it, since you don't want to have that on your record.

If you want to fight the charge, then you should do so. You will need to hire a lawyer for the trial.
Re: Charged with MISREPRESENTATION OF AGE
There are things that an attorney should look into with this situation. Why was the car stopped? Why was everyone in the car searched? Why was your purse searched? Did any of you give the cop consent to search?
It does not sound like you misrepresented your age. Although, you should also think about the possibility of rocking the boat and creating other charges, like possessing the fake ID.
I would suggest contacting an attorney regarding the specifics of your situation.
