charged with possession
can i be charged with a drug possession if the police officer found some drugs in the back of a pick-up truck that I was driving but had borrowed from someone who at that time was serving a sentence for a drug charge for the same type drug that was found in the back of his truck?

Yes, you can be charged. However, to be convicted the State has to show that you intentionally and knowingly possessed drugs. That is that you knew the drugs were in the car. Under facts stated that does not seem likely.
