Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
I was charged with 18 U.S.C. 1701 Obstruction of mail. I plead guilty and was given 12 months prob and 1,200.00 dollar fine. Paid and served and was released. My question is am I a felon? This is a misdemeanor but it was in federal court so what is my status.

If it was a misdemeanor charge, then you are not a felon. It takes a felony charge and conviction to make you a felon.
