charges with aggregated theft

my daughter is el paso texas, is being held by ins,she was also an illegal immagrant, and also being charged with aggregated theft o1500 and u 20,000, she is in jail and waiting process, what will happen to her, will she have to do jail time there? we have contacted canada and huston texas consulates and are making sure she's ok, but we wanted to kbow if jail time is a possibilty for her, they said el paso texas is the worst place to be in jail please we really need to know because this is very very upsetting to us all. Again thank you.

She needs an El Paso attorney, with immigration and criminal defense experience. Yes, she might do jail time, but it depends upon the circumstances of the crime charged. An attorney might be able to negotiate a resolution of the immigration and criminal charges. It is impossible to speculate the odds, with so little information.
