Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Charges against me?
About a month ago I was fired from my job because one of my employees and I had a sexual encounter one night. Apparently she has alleged that I sexually harassed her, made unsolicited advances and potentially even rape. However, in the time since the incident I have not been contacted by anybody regarding the allegations. She has an attorney that has not reached out to me. I also contacted the local PD and found that there is no report filed against me. So I'm not sure what I should be doing. Obviously I refute the validity of her claims, but I'm not sure what steps I should take to find out what is happening, or if there is anything happening.

I think at this stage it is probably best to contact an attorney. It is better to be as proactive as possible.
