I believe I am being charged with taking money and sliding merchandise at my job. It was said to me that it totaled to about a little over $1100.00. What am I facing, I am a 22 year old college student who has already found another job.

That sounds like Class A Misdemeanor Theft. A Class A misdemeanor is punishable by up to a year in jail and a $4,000 fine.
