Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
charging document error
I recently obtained a document regarding criminal trespass-entry that I believe is a charging document. It states ''hertofore then and there intentionaly or knowingly enter in a habitation located at xxxxx owned by another without the efective consent of said owner, and the said defendant had notice that the entry was forbidden.''
The x's should indicate the address of the home I entered, however it is the address I lived at, at the time.
What affect would that have on the chages against me?

What does your lawyer say? Because you should have one -- this information might be subject to a motion to quash/dismiss -- the surrounding facts are important.
