Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

Child Abuse

Long story short... I have a 17 year old son that has a history of trouble with the law and other major problems that went into a rage and left the house. He took his revenge out on me by claiming he was phically and sexually abused for years. He told his girlfriends dad (who doesn't really know me) and he came to see me. I told him to do whatever he has to do because it's false. CPS has it and has seemed to ignore his history and is proceeding like I'm guilty. What should I do? They don't seem to be interested in what my wife and I have to say.

Re: Child Abuse

1. You have a 5th Amendment right to remain silent. Exercise it at once.

2. Consult a criminal lawyer in your area. Do not speak with anyone under any circumstances about any of this until you have.

3. If you decide to handle this yourself and talk your way out of it, pack your toothbrush and be prepared for the worst.
