Re: Child Molesting

Without more details, this is a difficult questions to answer. Child molestation can mean several different statutes: aggravated sexual assault of a child, sexual assault of a child, or indency. However, many of these statute of limitations do not begin to run until after the child victim has turned 18. Thus, if the statute of limitations is 10 years, the clock does not start to run until the child is 18, which means the limitations will not expire until the child is 28.
