Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
I got a citation for theft attempted $50-$500 but i wasnt arrested can I still go to jail im in the state of texas and can i just pay this online without going to court

Yes, you can go to jail. You are charged with a Class B misdemeanor. You must go to court and cannot simply pay it online. Moreover, you should not simply pay it. Theft is a crime of moral turpitude and could have dire consequences on you in the future. You need to hire a lawyer and perhaps you can get a deferred disposition on a Class C or a pre-trial diversion.
