Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

civil law of theft

Can a person that chose at the time to let a theft be on his record which prohibits him from getting jobs, can this person somehow get this off his record? Theft was under $100.00 which was a misdemeanor B. Is there any way to do anything about this at this point as to where he might be able to get a job? This was finalized as far as book work on 8/31/06. And if not, will this ever in his lifetime go off his record? Thank-you

Re: civil law of theft

If you stay out of trouble, you may be able to get an Order of NonDisclosure. It is not an expunction, as law enforcement, and state agencies will be able to see your record, but the general public will not.
