Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Class C Misdemeanor
How can I get a class C misdemeanor (plead no contest) removed, sealed or expunged from my criminal history? I completed my probation successfully and have no other arrests, etc. on my record. Court dispostion: 312 - deferred - what does that mean?

Re: Class C Misdemeanor
It means that you received deferred adjudication; which since you completed it successfully, resulted in a dismissal, not a conviction. You can research expunctions and non-disclosures at the law library; or retain a local attorney to resolve it for you. Good luck.
