Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Class A Misdemeanor Expungement Texas
Hello I was arrested and charged with a Class A misdemeanor in 1990 at age 17. I was sentenced to 1 year of probation. Is it possible to have a Class A misdemeanor expunged if I was convicted and served probation? If not what can I legally deny if I have my records sealed?

If you were convicted and received a straight probation, then that cannot be expunged and will be on your record forever unless you get a pardon from the governor. If you received a deferred adjudication type of probation, that did not result in a conviction, then you would likely be eligible to file a petition for non-disclosure. It is not as good as an expunction, but it seals the records from most private entities.
Re: Class A Misdemeanor Expungement Texas
Based on what you have written, it appears that you probably do not qualify for expunction. When an individual has "community supervision" that individual is not eligibel for expunction. You may want to consider filing a petition for non-disclosure.
