Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

took computer to best buy to get repair. They turned it over to sherrifts because 'the thought" their may have been child porn on the computer, due to a file name. The sherifs told me they did not ever see anything illegal but suspicious file names, so they gave to sheriffs. Sherrifs took 8 months to review computer, go search warrant, looked into the computer found nothing, .. I had to contact and retain counsel to as a result of the investigation, this cost me 20K. Is not best buy liable for the fees i incurred as a result of them of them guessing wrongly?

I think a jury would hold them liable. Sue them. And let the local newspaper know about it.
