Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Confiscation
My son was in a drug house with a friend, when it got raided by police. Although he did'nt play any part in it, or were arrested. The Police confiscated he money ($1600. in his pocket that he saved to buy a car with. Do the police have the right to keep his money or can he git it back from them? If yes, what steps do I need to take? Thanks !

Re: Confiscation
To get $ back file a motion for return of proerty. That is assuming that the police have not filed a forefeiture action against the money to sezie it.
