Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Contributing to minors
Tx laws allow parents to supply their minor children alcohol if they are in plain sight. If my wife is a minor and me as well, is it ok for my mother-in-law to give both of us alcohol in her presence if we are in plain sight?

Re: Contributing to minors
You can read the specific provisions in Chapter 106 of the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code. Briefly, if the adult parent is visibly supervising, then the adult parent can provide alcohol to their minor child. Not to their child-in-law.
