Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
I have been convicted of a felony in one county and in the process of being convicted of a seperate felony in another county. Can the felony I have already been convicted of affect my court process of the felony pending?

Generally, a prior felony would make is a repeat offense and would up the punishment one level; for example, from a third degree to a second degree. There are exceptions and specific requirements. Your attorney should be able to give you the details.
