Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
i was convicted of felony in 2003. for an employment background checks would the employer check from use conviction date or release date from parole?. how many years is average for convictions to show up?

Arrests and convictions will show up on all background checks unless the conviction was pardoned and then expunged. If you sucessfully completed deferred adjudication probation, you might be entitled to petition the convicting court for nondisclosure of criminal record.
