ok i was convicted of a misdemeanor b theft charge for shopplifting, my question is when i was convicted my lawer got it be prffered adjudication, now will this charge show up on a employer background check in tx???

Yes. Deferred Adjudication is not a conviction if successfully completed, but it will show on a background check. You should consult with a lawyer about filing a petition for non-disclosure once your probation is over to seal your record to prevent most private entities from seeing it.
