Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
County Court at Law-Appeal
Arrested for PI 1996
Nolo contendre- found guilty-deferred adjudication at small town municiple court...I appealed to county court at law...judge dismissed. Does this mean that I was not found guilty ? I am applying for RN license and I need to know if this will be on my criminal record? Does the dismissal from county court make the smaller court decision obsolete? Please help.

Re: County Court at Law-Appeal
This means you do not have a conviction on your record. However, it will stay appear on your criminal record until you expunge the record. I would recommend that you contact a lawyer to do the expunction for you.
