Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
can a county jail hold you indefinately on a fta from 2007 without setting a bond, but when he was to appear he was in jail, now that said they are holding him on bond provoction. What can we do when no one refuses to talk to us. He just did 3 whole years for the charge where he got out on bond.

The short answer is yes. However you need to hire an attorney to straighten this out.
It sounds like the bondsman, after discovering that their customer was in jail, applied to the court to go "off bond." So you need an attorney to get the court to set a bond and a new bond.
