Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Court Dates
If you are not notified of a court date to appear on, is it solely your fault that you did not go to the courthouse and check if they had the correct address? Becuase not knowing that there would be a court date in the first place, I took an internship to work out of the state of Texas in New York City. Now there is a warrant for my arrest. (First offense)

Re: Court Dates
The court looks to you and to your bondsman as responsible for appearing in court. You need to hire a lawyer to resolve not only the FTA warrant, but the pending criminal case.
