Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Court Question
My wife was given a speeding ticket about a year ago in Italy, Texas. Now she got a letter stating that she had to go to court on Friday. We don't live in that county and getting there would be difficult. If she were to call the court and explain the situation, would that suffice?

Re: Court Question
Depends on that court. However, I would call them and see what they have to say. They might let you reschedule the court date.
