Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
credit for time served
If you sit in jail for a year and then your case is finally dismissed, can you use that time served towards another case you get in the future? I have received one yes response and one no response. Does anyone have the correct answer please?

No. Time served is not transferable to an unrelated case.
