Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Credit for time served
My son is in county jail after violating terms of deferred adjudication. He already spent a month on the same charges and is now in for almost a week. He has applied for a PD. Should we ask for him to file a time served motion? The charges are possession of pot and a fake DL. My son is 18.

Don't automatically ask for time served. That means a criminal conviction. Hire an attorney this is your son's future at stake. If you have more questions e-mail me.
