Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
criminal charge
i was recently arrested and charged with indecent exposure .. i was seen in my own apt on the 3rd floor at 9-10 pm by some woman across the street at a business that was dark. she claims she saw indecent acts, and i insisted that was not the case when approached by law enforcement, i also insisted i was unaware of anyone looking in my apt window, although i was in my home going about my business. now i have to go to court, i have never been charged with anything or arrested before this incident, what preparations should i take.

Re: criminal charge
Get a lawyer. If your description is accurate, then this is a ridiculous charge. She needs to be charged as a peeping tom.
