Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Criminal charges
What is the process when someone files criminal charges against you (felony charges). Does the police have to contact you before they send it to the District Attorney? Do they warn you that you have a warrent out for your arrest? This is in Texas in Hardin County.

Re: Criminal charges
They don't have to contact you. However, they often will. There will be no warning of a warrant.
