Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
When a criminal defense attorney preps a client for trial does that usually mean the case is going to trial for sure?

No but it is definitely on the hard track to trial or the lawyer would not waste their time. The State could fold at the last minute or make an offer the client can't refuse - both options would mean no trial.
