Criminal Defense - Fort Worth, TX
My husband is on parole. He got pulled over and went to jail on a drug charge. He bonded out then parole put a hold on him and picked back up. Well the D.A has not filed any charges at this time and now we r waiting for parole to lift the hold.How long dose the D.A have to charge him?
Note" what he had was not drug's.

The DA can file charges any time within the statute of limitations. In your situation, that is likely 2 or 3 years depending on the situation.
