If a criminal is given immunity for "anything he did" in exchange for testifying against a murderer and then confesses to another murder does the prosecution have recourse?

There has to be more to the immunity agreement than this. Generally the immunity agreement surrounds the incident about which the informer is providing information, and nothing else. Or, if it is ongoing criminal conduct about which the informer is providing information, then there generally is a limitation put on the agreement such as a time period. I can imagine a situation in which an informer is providing information regarding gang activity and the informer provides information about a separate murder in which the target and the informer were involved and that could be covered by the agreement.
