Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
criminal law
My boyfriend missed probation and is now in county jail. Judge has not allowed him to be bonded out yet. But his lawyer hasn't even seen him yet and its been a week. Is this normal?

Re: criminal law
Is the attorney retained or appointed? If retained, then the amount of time and effort he is devoting may at connected to whether he has been paid. If he is appointed, there is little you are going to be able to do, except continue to inquire as to the status of the case. Each case has different fact situations, and there really isn't a 'normal'.
