Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
criminal law
My child entered our home, took personal belongings. A juvenile then entered, removed guns. Sheriffs dept. found guns w/the juvenille. Sheriff's Dept. refused to arrest the juvenille. They agreed to arrest our daughter, and did. Then we were pressured to drop the charges. We did not drop the charges. Our daughter is pleding not-guilty. We are told that the juvenille will not be prosecuted, is this possible??

Re: criminal law
Have you spoken with the District Attorney's office to learn why the case is not being prosecuted?
You can always sue the juvenile (through the parents).
