Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Criminal Threat
My ex threatened to hire someone to kill me on his myspace page (I printed it out along with his wife's page that threated to kick my a$$). I filed charges yesterday and gave the police the pages and they also took a tape I have of him cussing me out on voicemail. They were upset about a letter from my attorney detailing the abuse our children suffered from his wife's children, medical expenses he refuses to pay and disparaging remarks, CPS being called on them, etc. This will be the 2nd complaint against his wife first on him. What could happen?? anything?

Of course, you filed criminal charges, so there could be criminal consequences. Presumably you have already retained an attorney to restrict access to the children.
