Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

Curious about 4212 section5
I was wondering as to whether or not a criminal mischief case in 1996 is a jailable offense or should probation have been the correct sentence.I believe the answer is in 4212 section 5 but could not find it.The reason I was curious is because I am an Aircraft Mechanic and recently lost access to the flightline due to an arrest in 1996, which means I can not work.I think that if I can find a problem with my case I may be able to have it reduced to a misdameanor, and be able to continue working.The case was criminal mischief which is a state jail felony because it was between $1,500 and $20,000.Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated, Thank you.

You have the section number wrong....all ohio criminal statutes begin with 29...

Do you have any prior convictions?

If not, you can have this one expunged..
