Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
My dad was on parole and picked up a new case. So his parole was revoked is what his parole officer said. The sentence for the new charges was done next month June. His PO said he was going to recommend they send him back to prison. Well yesterday at one in the morning he was transfered out of county jail. He is currently at a detention center in Pecos Tx. I don't understand why he went there instead. Wasn't he suppose to get transfered into a tdcj unit?

It is possible that they just transferred him partway, or that he has charges in Pecos that he must answer to before being sent to TDCJ. He should not be sent to TDCJ until he finishes the new case.
