My daughter had a argument with her boyfriend front of my house.he tried to punch her she ran inside the house and he follow her to the house .she grab a knife to scare him away.he called police she had arrestead with assault with deadley weapon charge.what should I do

Hire her a lawyer. Generally, one cannot used deadly force (knife) against another person's use or threat to use non-deadly force (punch with fists.)
