Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

Need help for my daughter

My daughter plead guilty to shoplifting last year. She was given adult probation because she was 17 at the time.I tried speaking with the attorney prosecuting the case but was told because of her age I could not speak on her behalf.I've also tried to speak with her P.O. but was told the same thing. My problem is my daughter has a learning disability and I wanted to bring that to their attention. She is now 18 and just a junior in high school. She was diagnosed with a learning disability in grade school Would that have made a difference in her sentence witch was 13 months probation fines and 100 hours community service. Also what can somebody do if they haven't the means to pay the fines?

All this should have been presented during the plea bargain. In some counties, the judges do not let you re-open a plea bargain once is entered.
