Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
My daughter was stopped for a routine traffic violation, last year. The officer detained her for more than 30 minutes. The officer and my daughter were both aggitated, which resulted in my daughter driving off from the officer during before her complted the ticket. She deciced to turn around and go back, the officer arrested her because she was loud and verbally abusive to the officer. The arrest was for evading arrest with a vehicle. What are her options?

From the facts you have provided she needs to get a good criminal defense lawyer to negotiate a good plea bargain. Driving away from the cop sounds like evading arrest to me. The fact that she drove back might serve to mitigate her punishment, but not her guilt. Sort of like taking the person you shot to the hospital.
