Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
my daughters mother dropped child molestation charges on one of her a family members.my daughter was in my custody when this happened.can i still bring charges on the perpetrator for what has happened? can i bring charges on her mother for doing this when she did not have custody?

She didn't actually drop charges. She may have provided information to the police or prosecutor that caused them to decline the charge or dismiss it, but it was the decision of the police or prosecutor to drop the case.
