Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Dead Moms Credit Cards
My mom passed away in 2006 and left credit card debt and I began paying the cards and occasionally used the cards to take care of some personal matters. How will the credit card companies hold me liable for this, do they prosecute on criminal charges or work it out with a mediator lawyer on a sensible settlement to repay the amount I charged up, not knowing this was illegal ??

Re: Dead Moms Credit Cards
This could EASILY end up being a criminal prosecution. Get a second or third job to pay off these cards. The consequences are not worth it.
