Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Death
My father in law past away a week ago and my husband and I flew into the states from Germany! My husband's mother (my mother in law) said that there was no will that she was the will. We have now found out thta she is not even married to my father in law and they have been divorced for some time and she had the body cremated. The funeral home said that they just took her word that she was the next of kin and did not ask to see a marriage liscense? She is currently at their home which sits on a lot of land and has cattle and she is not even the next of kin?? I think we have a a pretty big case on our hands, just do not know what to do with all the evidence that we have aquired from the court house, the funeral home, and a background check! Please get back to me! Thank you!
