Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
In Dec of 2012 i was arrested in Harris county, tx. I was found not guilty in court and some of my bond money was returned to me in the form of a check but i was owed more. 6 months later they sent me my final check but also they sent the same check to me from Dec. forgeting i received anything i cashed both checks. The next week they called me claiming i owed them the money back and if i didnt pay a warrant would be issued for me. Is it legal for them to issue a warrant in my name? If so what would be the charge?

Theft. You received money that you know does not belong to you, and you have been made aware of it. You do not just get to keep it.
