Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Say a defendant was placed on 10 years deferred probation for agg. sex assault of a child. They completed all conditions without any problems. Are they intitled to an expunction? Also, defendant was order to register even after probation, is there anyway to stop the registration now that the probation is complete?

Defendants are not entitled to expunction unless the charges are dismissed, or they are acquitted or pardoned. Registration continues after probation is complete.
