Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
If there are two defendants on a case, and if one defendant get charge lessened does the charge for both defendants get lessened?

No, not necessarily. One defendant may get a reduced charge in exchange for testifying against another. One defendant may have better mitigating factors or a better excuse. One defendant may have a better lawyer or there may be different prosecutors assigned to each case. Or sometimes both will get reduced.
It really just depends on a lot of different variables.
