Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
I am a defendent in a misdemeanor assault case in Amarillo,Texas. How do I go about getting a certified copy of the plaintiffs criminal record from Houston,Texas without actually going to Houston?

You can hire an investigator in Houston to obtain it and send it to you or you can call the district clerk's office, find out what there is available and the cost to obtain it, then mail the payment to the clerk who in turn will send you the records.
