What is the maximum sentence for murder when committed in self defense?

If it is truly self-defense or defense of another, as defined in Texas Penal Code 9.32 and 9.33, there is no minimum sentence since if the jury believes the defense, it MUST acquit. If the jury or court disbelieves the affirmative defense of self-defense beyond a reasonable doubt and convicts, the maximum sentence is life or 99 years.,
